I worked at SamBoat for nearly two years, a marketplace specializing in boat rentals between private owners and professional operators.
I mainly worked on the development and maintenance of the PHP/Laravel web application across a wide range of areas, including bookings, payments, listings, search, users,
invoicing, administration and owner payouts.
I worked on payment integrations with MangoPay and Adyen, as well as insurance services. I also developed several AI-powered features, including an automated message moderation
system and a listing review summarization tool, initially designed as an AI assistant.
A significant part of my work focused on business logic, invoice and PDF generation, and application reliability. I also contributed to automated testing with PHPUnit and Laravel Dusk,
and to improving CI pipelines with Bitbucket Pipelines.
This experience allowed me to work across a complex marketplace, combining business features, payments, AI integrations, testing, performance and application maintainability.
